DAY 1 RECAP 2022

In case you missed it, we just finished day one of our first ever CardCon! From performances to early access and exclusive decks and merch – here is what happened:

As attendees arrived, they explored the Merch Store, NFT Booth, and Collector’s Haven. Our Amplify Booths opened, where people will capture some great memories throughout the two-day event.

To kick off the day, our emcee Chris Ramsay officially revealed the first-ever CardCon deck! Of course, we also had to flex the new and extraordinary Peacock deck.

Shortly after the big reveal, performances began from jaw-dropping card mechanic Richard Turner, mind-blowing magician John Stessel, and masterful magician Chris “Orbit” Brown. Chris “Orbit” Brown gave the heartfelt story of the meaning behind each custom card face. Then revealed the new Tally-Ho x Orbit deck.

Oh, and did we mention that Rick Smith Jr. beat the Guinness World Record for Consecutive Cards Thrown? He is now unofficially the world record holder.

Throughout the rest of the day, when we weren’t exploring the Collector’s Haven or taking pictures at the Amplify Booths, we were meeting up with the performers at the autograph tables. We also had a jam packed day of learning our newest game, Nerts, and playing at the game table. It was a blast.

Finally, we closed out the day and moved to the VIP reception where we got some face time with our incredible performers and special guests.
